"Gamechecker", "we" or "the service" refers to this website and related functionality. "User" or "you" refers to any visitor or registered user.

Gamechecker is a free price comparison and information service for retro video games. We are not a webshop and do not act as an intermediary in purchases. All purchase agreements are made directly with the relevant webshop.
3. Account
An account is optional and free. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secret and for activity under your account. You may not create an account with false details or for abuse of the service.
4. Permitted use
You may use Gamechecker for personal, non-commercial use. It is not permitted to:
- overload the website (e.g. automated bulk requests outside normal API use);
- bypass security measures;
- systematically copy data for commercial resale without permission;
- use the service in a way that harms others or disrupts operation.
5. Availability
We strive for a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, updates or technical failures may cause temporary interruptions.
6. Intellectual property
The design, name Gamechecker and underlying software are our intellectual property. Game content, brands and images remain property of the respective rights holders.
7. Liability
See also our Disclaimer. To the extent permitted by law our liability is limited to direct damage and excluded for indirect damage, lost profit or damage from reliance on displayed prices or availability.
8. Privacy
Processing of personal data is described in our Privacy policy.
9. Changes
We may change these terms. Continued use after publication of changes constitutes acceptance, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Applicable law
Dutch law applies to these terms. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
